  • Begin with clean, dry hands.
  • Use only a very small amount.
  • Apply with the copper applicator, or the integrated glass applicator for a gentler option.
  • Traditionally, many people follow three strokes on the right eye and two on the left.
  • Application varies from person to person — find what works for you.

Ithmid has traditionally been applied along the waterline or lash line, while some prefer applying it through the eyelashes themselves. Different methods and preferences exist — whichever you choose, start with only a very small amount and build up if needed.

  • Wipe the applicator with a clean cloth after each use.
  • If needed, use a small amount of 70% isopropyl alcohol.
  • Let it dry completely before returning it to the bottle.
  • Do not introduce moisture into the kohl.
  • Do not share applicators.
  • Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place.

Why is the color deep charcoal-gray, not jet black?

This is the natural, unaltered appearance of Ithmid — not a sign of a diluted or incorrect product.

Why does it spread after I apply it?

Ithmid is highly pigmented and naturally spreads. This is normal — using too much product is the most common cause of excess spreading.

What if I experience irritation?

Using more product than needed can increase the chance of discomfort — apply only a small amount. Discontinue use if irritation occurs or persists, and if it continues, we recommend speaking with a healthcare professional.

Can I use Ithmid while wearing contact lenses?

If you wear contact lenses, we recommend applying Ithmid before inserting your lenses, or after removing them, when possible. Apply gently and avoid direct contact between the product and your lenses.

Golden Oasis does not recommend use during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless you have first received guidance from your healthcare provider.
